As a mum of two boys I understand the challenges of navigating their education and school lives. When something is not going well, I want to help them immediately. As a teacher I understand the difficulties and concerns specific learning differences can create in school and everyday tasks. In my role as SEND governor, I understand the strategic implications that schools need to consider when planning the support provision of SpLDs.
